Big Three vs. Boston City League Challenge |
Second Annual On January 27, 2008, Big 3 and BCL fans from Boston, New Bedford, Fall River and Brockton witnessed the Second Annual Basketball X-Perts Big Three vs Boston City League Challenge hosted by Brockton High School. The second installment of "The Challenge" proved to meet and exceed all the hype and buildup created last year when the City League teams swept each game. This year Charlestown High School and Durfee were added to the bill, breathing new life into the event. The first game featured a revenge minded New Bedford squad and The English HIgh School. The evening game, Brockton and East Boston is turning into quite an annual battle. It was easily the most exciting game of the night. The Boston City and the Big Three Leagues are playing about even in The Challenge with the BCL holding a slight lead in series, 3-2. We look forward to more exciting action next year.
