Khari currently serves as the Assistant Director of Athletics at MassBay College with campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham and Ashland Massachusetts. He spent six years at Cathedral High School in Boston where he served as the Director of Athletics. Under his direction, Cathedral won the Boys Basketball Division 4 South Sectional Championship in 2004 and returned to win the Division 4 State Championship Crown in the winter of 2006 & 2007. Khari has been working in youth sports for over a decade, contributing to programs like Hoop Mountain, the prestigious Boston Neighborhood Basketball League, the National Youth Sports Program among many others.
Khari attended Boston Technical High School, Mission Church High School (EMASS Champions 1992), and Concord-Carlisle High School (Diploma) before receiving his B.A. degree from UMASS - Amherst in 1999. He attended Fitchburg State College in 2005 where he received his M.Ed.

Eggie McRae has gone down in history as one of the "greatest" Basketball Players of all time in the State of Massachusetts. In High School, McRae led Mission Church High School to the Eastern Massachusetts Championship Crown while becoming Boston Globe's player of the year in 1992. McRae was also an All-Scholastic (Boston Globe) & Dream Team (Boston Herald) Selection. McRae was inducted into the Boston Amateur Basketball Club (BABC) Hall of Fame in 2001 (AAU National Champions). McRae attended Division I, University of Texas, El Paso. He ended his collegiate career as a season statistical leader in assists, assist to turnover ratio, free throw percentage, field goal percentage and points scored. McRae was regarded in the WAC Conference as one of the most efficient point guards with an exceptional basketball IQ. McRae was voted All-Newcomer WAC and All-Defensive Team. McRae was a member of the Boston Celtics Summer Team Roster in 2000 and has been known as a "Coach on the floor" throughout his entire career. McRae became an Assistant Coach in August 2005 for the Bunker Hill Community College Men's Basketball Team just before being named Head coach for the ABA Franchise Boston Frenzy in November 2005.

Malcolm X. Smith is entering his fith season as the head boys basketball coach at the very prestigious East Boston High School. In his first season at the helm of the well-publicized ball club, Coach Smith led them to the city playoff championship game and deep into the state tournament. Prior to his arrival at East Boston High School, coach Smith spent ten years as the lead assistant to coach Charlie Titus on the University of Massachusetts - Boston Men's basketball team. In addition to serving as the Beacons' bench coach, Smith also oversaw the team's recruiting, scouting operations and game-day preparation. He also handled the squad's preseason conditioning programs. Before coaching at UMass Boston, Smith spent two seasons as an assistant coach at Newbury College, during which time he helped his teams to 27-8 and 25-7 records. He also spent three years as Head Coach at Boston High School and was an assistant on the 1996 Boston Shootout championship team. Smith served as head coach of a team of foreign professional players on a playing tour of Cape Verde during the summer of 1999 and 2000 and is currently an American scout for the Philippines Basketball League. He spent Summer 2005 as a Head Coach for a US Pro-Am team in the prestigious PBA in Manila and also serves as the Director of Scouting services for the Boston Frenzy of the ABA. A 1995 graduate of Northeastern, Smith is also a nationally ranked table tennis player.
Wayne Turner

Turner will serve as the Coordinator of Player Development. Wayne brings a wealth of experience to the BX staff, having played basketball on every level across the country and around the world. Wayne is a native of Boston, Mass. He graduated from Beaver Country Day School located in Chestnut Hill, MA (class of 1995) where he was a four year starter and captain of the varsity basketball team. In four years Turner became a member of Massachusetts exclusive 2,000 point club, a Parade All-American, and McDonald’s High School All-American. Turner was also named to the First International Hoop Summit, USA team where he played with future NBA All-Stars Kevin Garnett, Shareef Abdur-Rahim, Stephon Marbury, and Antawn Jamison. After a lengthy courtship, Turner accepted a full scholarship to play collegiately at the University of Kentucky where he went on to make history.
At Kentucky, Turner set an NCAA record for games played with 151, breaking Christian Laettner’s mark of 148. He is the all time Wildcat leader in steals and ranks 4th in assists. As a senior he was named third team All-SEC, ranked 7th in the conference in assists, 11th in steals, and named to the SEC All-Tournament team. Turner averaged 16.0 ppg, 4.3rebs & 4.0 assists over three games as Kentucky won the SEC league title, including a career high 24 points vs. Ole Miss. As a junior Turner was MVP of the SEC Tournament and the NCAA South Regional Most Outstanding Player. He scored 16 points vs. Duke in the South Regional championship win, scored 18 points vs. South Carolina in the SEC Championship win and swiped a school record 8 steals vs. George Washington. As a sophomore Turner led the Wildcats and finished 4th in the conference in assists, started 10 games and was named to the NCAA West Regional All-Tournament team. In the regional final win over Utah, he played 35 minutes, had 12 pts, 3 rebs, 4 assists, 5 steals & 0 turnovers. As a freshman Turner averaged 13 minutes per game, starting 8 games and got a DNP-CD in the NCAA Championship Game win over Syracuse.
Turner spent his professional, rookie season in 1999-2000 with the NBA’s Boston Celtics and the Cincinnati Stuff of the International Basketball League. The 24-year-old averaged 13.2 points and 5.0 assists per game for the Stuff. Turner also played professionally in Spain, Australia, Italy and Belgium.
